Ladders can be a problem on
sloping or uneven ground - how do you climb up to clean the
windows, clear the gutters, or paint without toppling to
one side? Or on a smooth surface, how do you stop the ladder
feet from sliding away from the wall? Or sinking into soft
ground? Laddermat can provide the solution to all of these.
Four mats, made from heavy-duty rubber matting with nodules,
are linked by a sturdy metal loop and offer adjustable anti-slip
blocking to go under the ladder foot needing extra height.

Ladder Stabilising System
Extensive empirical tests of this new stabilising system
using the test procedures recommended by Loughborough University
have been carried out and the results establish that it does
indeed prevent failure in all four modes on ladders up to
7.5 metres in length and thus meets HSE requirements as a
valid means of compliance.
The System consists of three parts - wheels, stabiliser
arms and either levelers or safety feet. All parts use clamps
for rapid and secure attachment. No drilling is required.
Stabiliser arms hinge out and are locked into position with
a telescopic strut with adjustment at 12mm intervals. The
free-running wheels clamped to the top of the styles and
the safety feet at the bottom have soft sticky rubber tyres
and feet which provide enormous resistance to slip
The maximum size ladder stile that the stabiliser will fit is 26mm wide x 76mm deep
