Descriptions, Specifications and Prices
Whilst we make every effort to publish accurate prices and specification details on our website, we reserve the right to alter specification and prices without prior notice. Should you place an order and our website shows an out of date price, you will be informed prior to despatch of your order and you will be offered the choice of either continuing with your purchase or cancelling your order. If there is extended delivery on any items you have ordered we will let you know as soon as possible.
We use ‘Sagepay’ to process credit/debit card payments which incorporates the latest security available to ensure your card details cannot be compromised. We accept payment by most major credit cards, debit cards, Maestro, bank transfer (account details on request) or good old fashioned cheque (Cheques take 5 – 7 working days to clear so goods will only be despatched once this period has elapsed).
In the interests of future customers, we use an independent review company (Feefo) who will send an email inviting customers who have purchased from us to review our service and products. Feefo have given us their assurances that they will never sell or use our customers details or information for any other purposes.
Therefore we guarantee your personal details are 100% safe with us and will never be made available to any other third party under any circumstances.
Monitoring Telephone Calls and Emails
Telephone calls using the telephone numbers provided on this website and email correspondence with Toptower at the email addresses accessible through, or discernible from, this website may be recorded or monitored. By using such communication methods you are consenting to the recording or monitoring of the same.
Delivery charges are included in our prices unless otherwise stated. We send most goods on a next working day basis.
We normally phone you to confirm delivery arrangements for large items. Orders are usually despatched within 24 hours of receipt however, this is subject to availability and excludes weekends and public holidays.
Please ensure you are in to receive the delivery – items will not normally be left without a signature. Re-deliveries may be chargeable if you are not in to receive the goods on the day we have agreed with you. Charges will depend on the type of goods ordered, total weight etc.
We rely on carriers to deliver our goods and therefore we cannot be held responsible for any financial loss, damages or expenses incurred by you, your company or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of late or non delivery of your order or any part thereof.
Goods Damaged in Transit & Short Deliveries
DO NOT SIGN FOR ANY GOODS AS ‘UNCHECKED’. This does not mean anything to our carriers – PLEASE be specific – CHECK FOR DAMAGE AND OR MISSING ITEMS -
Please ensure you check the number of items (bundles & boxes total) against the drivers documentation and check for any damage that may have occurred in transit. Particularly the frame legs on scaffold towers - these must be nice and round for the system to work properly. If there is any damage or discrepancies make sure you mark these either ‘Damaged or Missing Items’ on the driver’s notes then we can replace items free of charge to you and claim off our carrier.
Don't be alarmed, most goods get to their destination complete and unscathed but if there are any problems, we can only claim off our carriers if the driver’s paperwork is marked accordingly.
All goods purchased from us are guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months. The guarantee covers manufacturing defects and includes parts and labour costs. If you find it necessary to claim under this guarantee within this period you may return your goods to us with a covering letter stating the original invoice number and purchase date and we will arrange for the repair or replacement subject to examination and approval.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse or general wear and tear. This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights.
Cancellation of orders and Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt of goods and are subject to the following conditions - The buyer must advise in writing or by email that they wish to return the goods. Our initial response will include issuing a returns form containing a returns number which should be clearly marked on the returned goods.
The goods must be unused and in new, re-salable condition (where possible still in the original, undamaged packaging) and the buyer must arrange and pay for the goods to be sent back to us within a further 14 days after advising us they are to be returned. Goods must be packaged suitably for shipping via carrier as goods damaged in transit back to us will not be refunded. Once we have received the goods and established the items are in resalable condition, a full refund will be given.
Returns beyond 14 days after receipt cannot be returned for a refund.
Returned goods which are damaged in transit back to us or are not considered to be in new, resalable condition will not qualify for a refund and you must make arrangements to collect the goods from our premises within 14 days after we have informed you of this. If the goods are not collected within 90 days then we reserve the right to dispose of the goods to reclaim warehouse space.
Refunds will be made via the same method as the original transaction and in the case of credit/debit cards refunds will only be given back to the original card used in the initial transaction.
Orders for Custom/bespoke/specials cannot be returned for refund.
