Replacement and upgrade parts for industrial aluminium scaffold towers, including adjustable legs, castors and base plates. Use the guide below to narrow down the right component for your tower, then check the compatibility notes on the product page before you order.
Adjustable Legs
Our adjustable legs have a 46mm outside diameter to suit most industrial aluminium scaffold towers. They have a generous 300mm threaded section with an easy-operation collar adjustment nut for levelling the tower on uneven ground, and a spring pin keeps the leg captive in the tower leg. Legs are available as a set of 4, as a pair with castors, or as a set of 4 with either 125mm or 150mm castors.
Castors
Our castors fit adjustable legs with a 38.10mm internal diameter. Each has a foot-operated positive wheel lock, a polyurethane tyre for rolling over rough surfaces and a spring-loaded pin that keeps the castor in the adjustable leg when not in use. There are two sizes:
- 125mm castors - 600kg safe working load per castor (static)
- 150mm castors - 700kg safe working load per castor (static)
Base Plates
Our alloy tower base plates are made from aluminium with a steel spigot and come in a set of 4. They're also available as a set of 4 together with alloy adjustable legs, for towers that will be used static rather than moved on castors.
Checking Compatibility
- Our legs and castors are designed to suit most industrial aluminium scaffold towers, but not every tower - several of our leg sets are not suitable for Alto towers.
- Our adjustable leg and castor sets do not fit our Classic Tower.
- Check your tower's leg size against the diameters above, and check the product page, as compliance details (including BS EN 1004:2004) are listed product by product.
- Always follow your tower manufacturer's instructions and replace worn or damaged components with compatible parts.
